Senior Data Engineer (PL)

You make the architectural calls for the whole data platform, in Poland and in the US.

A growing number of customers and integrations — in Poland and in the US — means growing complexity in the data architecture. We are looking for a senior to own the architectural decisions across the data engineering team, mentor the less experienced engineers, and make sure the pipelines scale with the company.

مهامك

Making the key architectural decisions about the pipelines and the company-wide data model.
Mentoring and backing up the less experienced data engineers, including on the team serving the US market.
Running the most complex integrations with customer systems (ERP, WMS, ordering systems).
Defining and enforcing the standards for data quality, security and performance across the company.
Optimising the cost and performance of data processing at growing scale (Poland and the US).
Working with the analytics and product teams on where the data platform goes next.

ما نبحث عنه

At least 4 to 5 years as a data engineer, including making architectural decisions independently.
Fluency in SQL and experience with data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
Experience with pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster or similar).
Solid Python for building pipelines and transforming data.
Experience supporting and mentoring other data engineers, formally or informally.
English good enough to work in an international team, including with the US team.

يُفضَّل

Experience with operational and production data (IoT, MES systems, data from production lines).
Familiarity with dbt or similar transformation tools.
Experience building a data platform from scratch, or substantially rebuilding one.
